Chart of accounts, subsidiaries, and classes

Operating NetSuite for growth-stage companies
Configure the system, then run the close inside it.
Finance leads whose books, entities, or reporting have outgrown the current ledger, and who do not have a team to administer NetSuite after go-live.
The work
The close breaks when the ledger cannot carry the business.
A second entity, deferred revenue, or a board that wants the numbers by segment shows up before anyone is ready to hire a NetSuite administrator.
A typical implementation configures the system and hands it back. The company then owns the administration, the chart of accounts, and the close as three separate jobs. PIF Advisory is a certified NetSuite partner. The same team configures the system and runs the monthly close in it.
How the work runs
The engagement starts from the close the company already has, not from a blank chart of accounts. Subsidiaries, items, and classes are set up to match how revenue and cost actually land. Each month the close, the reconciliations, and the statements are produced in NetSuite.
When the business adds an entity or changes how it sells, the system is updated by the team that already runs the books.
What this engagement is not
This is not a license sale, and it is not a project that ends at go-live. Companies that already have a finance team and a NetSuite administrator do not need this engagement. They need bookkeeping, or an outsourced CFO, on the system they already run.
